eNeM Development Centre Novi materiali d.o.o. is a company engaged in research and development activities in the field of new materials and innovative technological solutions. Established in 2011, it acts as a hub for Zasavje’s development potentials, linking them to the rest of Slovenia and abroad, while enabling the immediate transfer of research and development to industry.

Throughout its history, the company has coordinated and implemented numerous research and development projects, including projects co-funded by national and international calls for tenders. Key achievements include the development of innovative materials, technologies and processes, patent applications and numerous innovation awards. RC eNeM is working to address today’s challenges in the areas of circular economy, low-carbon technologies, energy, automation and digitalisation.
In 2024, the company underwent a turnaround with the entry of new owners and the creation of new subsidiaries focused on the green transition and digitisation. New strategic areas of development include processes, robotics, automation, digitisation, safe and sustainable solutions, innovative energy solutions, and applied artificial intelligence.
RC eNeM positions itself as a key development partner between public research organisations and industry in the region. Its vision is focused on addressing current challenges such as the transition to carbon neutrality, automation, and digitisation, which are key to the competitiveness and sustainable development of the industry.
The company also carries out tasks of coherent regional development and promotes the integration of businesses with various stakeholders to foster economic development in the Zasavska region.
