Metal separation

The Metal Separation branch is dedicated to improving existing and developing new solutions in the field of metal separation.

Presentation of the project
Metal separation is used to:
- to avoid damage to equipment: separating only metals that are large enough to damage equipment downstream in the production process,
- to protect the end-user, ensure a cleaner product and reduce litter,
- to increase recycling: separating metals from other materials for reuse and to avoid damage to equipment.
Areas of research:
- research into the types and effects of different metals,
- research into separating metallic foreign particles as small as possible,
- research on the introduction of AI in the production and repair of separation plants.
The aim of the research is to improve separation plants, improve the production of separation plants and at the same time develop new separation methods that can optimise current processes and thus help reduce the environmental impact.
